Burns Valley Herbals and Retreat
This breathtaking getaway is available to rent for your single day or overnight workshops, classes or meetings. The walkout lower level guest suite of the home could be utilized along with use of the grounds. A large pavilion with water, electric, 8 large picnic tables, a fire pit and a cooking fireplace are located on the grounds. A double sided outhouse is located close to the pavilion but portable potties can be rented if desired. A 10’x30′ tent with 4 sides and tables can also be requested.
Other activities available are nature walks, herbal garden tours, a 14 hole disc golf basket course, roasting marshmallows at the fire pit, outdoor cooking, stargazing, horseshoes and located in the lower level suite is foosball, arcade basketball and several games. Also in view are many gardens that contain a large variety of herbs, vegetables and fruits. This 22 acre field and wooded retreat backs up to Big Spring State Park which offers your choice of hiking trails and is conveniently located only 15 minutes off the turnpike at Willow Hill exit Route 75. Be sure to watch out for the Amish buggies!
